We had a wonderful time. The depth of knowledge expressed by the guides, the planning and the activities, makes this trip more than just a vacation. There is time to relax or to add to your own private adventure and discovery by exploring on your own or with a guide. The core guided portion of each day is rich in history and is a beginning to further exploration. The variety of backgrounds of our fellow travelers made this trip to Turkey even more enjoyable. Everyone is generous in spirit, helpful and kind. We learned much from our fellow travelers. The Magnaura Palace Hotel was comfortable, small, inviting, and gave the flavor of Turkey. The breakfasts were served on the roof top with views of the Bosporus River with its shipping activity, Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, and the Blue Mosque. It was beautiful. The sun warmed us each morning. The breakfasts were a wonderful way to start each day. There was lots a fresh and dried fruit, plus many Turkish relish-type dishes. Hot scrambled eggs and meat, plus, cheese, cereal and milk were also part of the buffet. This was a great way to start the day. The hours of the buffet were from 7 to 10 a.m. which allowed some to explore in the morning early before our regular activities. Mehmet, the proprietor, is a delightful host, available to answer questions, give background on Turkish life and customs, and to assist in anyway asked. My nineteen year old granddaughter and I had a delightful time in Cappadocia and Istanbul. Every detail was perfectly planned yet gave us the flexibility to participate in what either of us wanted. She was able to do activities that I was not. It was a perfect vacation for us.

What is the average group size for your tours?
Our group sizes typically average 15 - 25 people, ensuring a more personal and immersive experience. This tour has a capacity of 16. We will never have a group of more than 30 including staff and guides to ensure the small group feel.
Are there any hidden fees in your trip costs
We do our very best to include all of the feasible costs right into the tour package price. Occasionally, gratuities as they are often at personal discretion may not be included, but whenever this is the case, it is mentioned as not included at booking.
