Another outstanding trip with Cultured Travel- the Galapagos Islands are not to be missed! We saw a multitude of species on land & while snorkeling- turtles, tortoises, penguins, blue-footed boobies, flamingos, sea lions, octopi and rays among so many others. As always, Jewel found the best local guide/naturalist- Cornelia knows the where & when to best view wildlife on each of the excursions. She is a wealth of information, energetic, encouraging and patient. The hikes varied from easy to challenging, always with alternatives available. Our quarters on the MS Anahi were spacious and comfortable, and the crew friendly, available and accommodating. We enjoyed a wide variety of delicious freshly prepared dishes and beverages. I highly recommend joining the next Cultured trip to the Galapagos!

This really is a special trip, due in no small part to Jewel and the team she assembled. The Galapagos are essentially perfectly preserved and have this Garden of Eden element to them. The wildlife, sea Life and the islands are special in an unexpected way - unexpected because you've never seen anything like them. To be able to share the same space as Sea Turtles, Marine Iguanas, Penguins, Frigate Birds, Land Iguanas, Oyster Catchers, an occasional small Reef Shark, Blue footed Boobies, etc. is an incomparable experience that we'll treasure forever. Cultured travel again, smartly engages the best facilities and academic experts to deliver an amazing experience. It occurred to me some time ago that for someone like Jewel (and Matt) to think of so many details and make every single element of a trip run so seamlessly and comfortably, they have to have real compassion for people in order to anticipate what would make the experience a deeper one, better, smoother, amazing, and a lasting memory. They know that through more personalized effort, they can ensure a traveler's time on their trips is an experience of a lifetime. Putting aside all that they do for their trips, I can say from having been in their company for many hours now, the world needs more people like Jewel and Matt. So, yeah, this is the trip and this is the travel company to choose.

This was our first trip with Cultured Travel and it won't be our last. Jewel is a very thorough and thoughtful organizer that made our trip even better than expected. She goes out of her way to find the right people and accommodations to make the trip educational and comfortable. Our naturalist and guide, Cornelia, was fantastic. The catamaran we were on for a week, the Anahi, accommodated 16 passengers comfortably. The entire staff of eight was super helpful, friendly and kind. And the chef prepared three great meals daily. The very busy itinerary included amazing hikes, walks and snorkeling. We definitely got our money's worth and would recommend this trip to anyone!
